Litigation Paralegal

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Position type: Direct Hire, Full Time.

Ultimate Staffing is currently partnered with one of the nation's top personal injury law firms to fill a full-time Paralegal position. The successful candidate will support two associate attorneys and assist with litigation and trial preparation.

Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal

  • Prepare exhibits for trial, including redaction of medical records and bills, creating trial notebooks, and managing blow-up requests to vendors.
  • Draft legal documents such as Complaints, Summonses, Initial Interrogatories, Requests to Produce, and Requests for Admissions.
  • Prepare and send client correspondence as needed.
  • Compile and update damages summaries.
  • Prepare and maintain medical chronologies for depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Prepare witness and exhibit lists for trial.
  • Coordinate and schedule mock juries.
  • Draft jury instructions and verdict forms.
  • Attend trials with attorneys, providing support as needed.
Qualifications of the Litigation Paralegal:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Paralegal experience, preferably in Personal Injury (PI) or Litigation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational abilities.
Compensation & Benefits for the Litigation Paralegal:
  • Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (in-office position).
  • Benefits include health insurance, vacation, holiday and sick leave programs, and a 401k retirement plan.
