We are offering Full-Time Shifts for Days - 7am to 3pm, Afternoons - 3pm to 11pm, and Nights - 11pm to 7am

Pay: Based on Experience from $23.00-$28.00/ HR

Schedule: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11am-7pm

About the job:

The Licensed Practical Nurse shall perform in accordance with state and local laws and within the guidelines of his/her professional organization. All functions shall be performed in accordance with the established policies and practices of the particular institution in which the LPN is performing his/her duties. The LPN is qualified by education, training, and experience and demonstrated abilities to give nursing care under the direction of a RN and to have the knowledge of the principles of psychological, biological and social sciences.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
• Ability to understand residents' charts, doctor's orders, residents' plan of care, medication orders.
• Effective communicator with staff, families and outside agencies
• Maintain a current CPR Certification
• Ability to prioritize duties
• Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques

Essentials:

• Role models positive communication skills with NA/RS, TMA's (if applicable), interdisciplinary team, customers, residents and families.
• Assign personnel appropriately to meet resident needs.
• Ensure that unit personnel and volunteers on your shift are carrying out their assignments
• Treats and ensures that residents are treated with respect and dignity.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per MD/Providers orders
• Make rounds to residents to observe their physical and psychosocial status.
• Listen to shift report and keep open lines of communication with supervisor, co-workers and on-coming shift.
• Follows all shift routines, policy and procedures regarding monitoring of vital signs, weights, administration of medications and treatments.
