Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Legal Practice Assistant to join a fast-growing full-service law firm's Bankruptcy team in Charleston, SC. The Legal Practice Assistant will provide exceptional administrative support to attorneys in a collaborative environment. This opportunity is fully onsite, full-time, and direct hire.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys on the Bankruptcy team
• Perform time entry and billing tasks
• Prepare and proofread correspondence to clients, external counsel, courts and court administration
• Format and prepare multi-state and federal legal filings, including e-filing
• Manage legal documents, ensure timely filing, and docket management
• Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys as needed
• Assist with scheduling and managing attorney calendars
• Support discovery processes, including document production
• Manage other administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years' of legal experience, preferably in litigation or bankruptcy practice areas
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong typing, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor
• Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and occasionally extend work hours as needed

Salary Range:

• Up to $65K annually, commensurate with experience
