SUMMARY
This posting will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. This posting does not necessarily reflect a current, open position. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester, as teaching needs arise. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through August 2024, at which point all applications will be cleared from the pool. Applicants will be welcome to apply to future pools after that date.
DESCRIPTION
The Business School at the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver) is seeking a pool of Lecturers in Health Administration from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure-track positions will be made. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50% FTE) and will be made semester-by-semester as needed.
Lecturers selected from this pool may teach classes in the MBA Health Administration, Executive MBA Health Administration or Executive Doctor of Health Administration programs in the Business School at the University of Colorado Denver. Classes taught will be limited to three credit hours. These may include lectures in all teaching modes (in person, hybrid, online, remote). Compensation will range from $6,000-$7,000 depending upon course level and commensurate with experience.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s or higher degree in health administration or closely related field. Degrees in other areas may be considered with recent significant managerial experience in health care management. At a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in human resources, leadership, health services research, managerial epidemiology, health care law, or quality management preferred. Prior online teaching experience in health care management. Preference given to applicants with a record of teaching multiple courses relating to health care management. Preference also given to applicants with one or more of the following professional credentials: FACHE, FHFMA, FHIMSS, or FACMPE. Other professional certifications may be considered in addition to educational credentials.
