Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of employment law, a strong advocacy background, and the ability to handle complex cases with professionalism and diligence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in labor and employment law matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and compliance issues.
  • Draft and review employment-related documents such as contracts, policies, and employee handbooks.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Advise clients on best practices for compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop case strategies and build strong cases.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and maintain existing client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • CA Bar and in good standing
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software
