In this Jr. Data Analyst role, you will be responsible for performing controls. Most of these controls have defined procedures that involve extracting, analyzing, and validating data to meet compliance requirements.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Extracting the list of users with administrative access to a specific application or database
• Analyzing the list to ensure it is appropriate
• Ticketing IT teams to remediate inappropriate access
• Extracting configuration data from a system and comparing it to a documented baseline
• Formally documenting, validating, and entering in the GRC tool (Archer), which is then reviewed by internal and external auditors
