Volt is immediately hiring for Electro-Mechanical Technician in Turlock, Ca
2nd shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pm
3rd shift - 11:00pm to 7:30am
M-F /OT and some Saturdays
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician you will:
- Preventive Maintenance on industrial equipment, air compressors, chillers, pumps, conveyors, boilers, filling, labeling, and welding
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and determine route cause of issue
- Operate hand tools and power tools
- Conduct testing on prototype systems
- Read and understand complex documents, writing diagrams, schematic drawings, safety rules, codebooks
- Assembles and modifies sub-assemblies, final assemblies
- Troubleshoot and repair of industrial machinery
- Meters, power supplies, service monitors, and test fixtures, timers, starters, switches, AC/DC motors, hydraulic and pneumatics
This is a
Full time opportunity with multiple shifts.
Monday- Friday with some OT on Saturdays. 2nd shift - 3:00pm to 11:30pm 3rd shift - 11:00pm to 7:30am The ideal candidate will have:
- Basic electrical systems, starters, fuses, contacts, relays
- Experience with VFD's, troubleshooting and installation
- Experience with product manuals (reading and applying knowledge to make repairs
- Experience with Schematics, switches, electrical blue prints
- Experience with mechanical breakdowns
- Experience with diagnosing problems
- Experience with reading mechanical drawings
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. -$30.00/hr. DOE *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
