Amazing Machinery Manufacturing seeking a In-Process Quality Control Inspector to join the team.

Monday - Friday 6 AM - 6 PM

Keys to hire:

In-Process QC Inspector, you monitor factory operations related to ASME welding, to verify compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements

Inspect welded subassemblies and assemblies at designated points in the manufacturing process

Coordinate with outside ASME inspector(s) and documents review and approval of welded subassemblies and assemblies

Maintain documentation of inspection results

Work alongside Quality Manager to oversee inspection of incoming materials to ensure compliance with ASME and/or Quality Management System requirements

Prepare and maintain inspection reports & calibration records

Working closely with the manufacturing team, engineering, vendors and office staff, you will review quality problems and ensure problem-free production manufacturing throughput

Identify the root cause of defect or reject trends and review these rejects and defect trends with the Quality Manager

Perform visual and mechanical inspection of stainless steel products such as precision vessels, tanks, and filter housings in accordance with the customer drawing or engineering blueprint and testing the mechanical function of the equipment design

Monitor factory operations related to ASME welding, to verify compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements

Inspect welded subassemblies and assemblies at designated points of the manufacturing process

Must have experience with weld procedures, symbols and understand how to inspect proper welds

Support the Quality department in performing its function to exceed customer expectations for quality and delivery

Possess a craftsman's eye for cosmetically pleasing equipment to meet our customers' high expectations

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, engineering clients, and customers regarding testing procedures and results to resolve problems

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering or technical degree from four-year college or university and or equivalent manufacturing/quality experience

4+ years of experience in Quality systems, programs, audits and procedures

4+ years in the fabrication and / or manufacturing industries

In depth knowledge of ASME and AWS codes

Certified with ASME inspection process - incoming inspection, material certification and marking requirements, in-process inspection, hydrostatic testing, and maintenance of records

Familiar with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Six Sigma and ISO 9001 practices

Proficient in relevant software, working within ERP Systems, must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint

Bilingual Spanish is a huge plus. Full time hours, benefits, 401k, PTO, Stability and Room for advancements.
