Large manufacturing company in Lebanon seeks student interested in a winter/spring internship. This paid work opportunity will run from January to April and beyond.
Hendrickson is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions; integrated and non-integrated axle systems; parabolic and multi-leaf springs; bumper and trim components to the global commercial transportation system.
The incumbent will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Human Resources department and assist in various functions such as:
• Training
• Employment
• Employee Relations
• Recordkeeping
Educational Requirements: Qualified individuals will be pursing a degree in Human Resources Management (or related) having completed some relevant coursework and possessing a qualifying GPA of > 3.0 Completed coursework in at least four HR courses is preferred.
Other Requirements:
• Prior administrative work experience desired
• Possess an understanding of the various aspects of HR
• Have a basic knowledge of employment-related laws
• Ability to efficiently work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic
• Able to work up to forty hours per week, MON-FRI, 8:00am - 4:30pm with flexibility
