Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking a temporary Human Resources Associate to join their team located in Washington, DC starting ASAP!
About the Job:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for basic employee inquiries related to HR matters.
* Support the recruitment process by coordinating interviews, phone screens, and offer letter creation.
* Facilitate the onboarding process by scheduling new employee orientation, updating new hire records, and managing associated communications.
* Enter employee information into the HRIS, maintain compliance with record keepings, and audit HR files periodically.
* Assist with payroll, tracking timesheets, and reconciling monthly benefits statements.
About You:
* 2+ years of HR and administrative experience are required.
* A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
* Strong confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
* Able to work independently with meticulous attention to detail.
About the Position:
* $24/hr-$26/hr, depending on experience.
* Temporary through the end of the year.
* Hybrid schedule with 3 days/week onsite in Washington, DC.
* Office is metro accessible!
