Volt is immediately hiring a Human Resources Assistant for immediate employment in Santa Ana CA.
As a Human Resources Assistant you will:
- Recruitment Support: Greeting candidates, contacting supervisors when candidates arrive, coordinating interviews.
- Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, setting up training schedules, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Employee Records Management: Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, prepare reports on HR metrics, and assist in audits when necessary.
- Employee Relations Support: Provide general support to employees on HR-related matters, helping to address inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- HR Projects: Assist in special HR projects and initiatives as needed, including employee engagement, diversity and inclusion efforts, and performance management.
This position is full time, M-F from 8am - 5pm. It is temp for 3 - 6 months, possibly longer.
Requirements:
- Education: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar position. Experience with HRIS required (experience with Workday and ADP a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations is a plus.
- Bilingual English and Spanish
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr
