Location: Kansas City, KS
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Human Resource Specialist.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Human Resources Duties:
  
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with training initiatives.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
  • Assist with employee company events
  • Support employee benefit enrollment activities
• Payroll Processing Duties:
  
  • Process payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare reports as needed.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
  • Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• College degree is preferred but not required
• 2 years of HR experience
• Experience with payroll is highly preferred
• Experience with ADP
• Looking for someone that enjoys helping others in the company
• Solid computer skills (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software.
