Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:Under general minimum supervision performs maintenance on exterior building equipment and infrastructure. Performs landscaping and grounds work as needed by the university. Performs daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of building exteriors and effectively documents all discrepancies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:
*Routine, preventive and corrective building maintenance.
*Requires seasoned skills in the job function or professional discipline; performs more complex, but expected work for a fully competent incumbent in the function or discipline; demonstrates an understanding of most work routines, rules, procedures and operations; may give advice to other, less experienced positions or provide technical leadership to job classifications performing similar work.

*Work well with a diverse staff and student population.
*Read, write and speak English, and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
One (1) year experience in landscaping and grounds operation.
Working/Environmental Conditions:*Working conditions involves some exposure to moderate risk of accident and require following basic safety precautions.
*Physical demands include moderate to heavy physical activity that includes prolonged standing and/or walking, handling moderate to heavy weight objects and/or using or carrying equipment.
*Work may require routine travel.
