What You Will Do:

As the Global Head of Marketing - RSV/hMPV, you will lead the commercial activities for a potential global product launch anticipated for around 2026. You will be accountable for the RSV/hMPV franchise global P&Ls, defining the global marketing strategy in partnership with key markets, and leading the strategy roll out partnering with the Medical team. You will lead the RSV/hMPV franchise long range plan, brand strategic plan, quarterly business review performance reviews and support the Global VP Commercial to coordinate the external communication with Finance and Investor Relations.

As the Global Commercial Lead on the RSV/hMPV Global Product Teams (GPT's), you will provide commercial input to advise clinical and regulatory strategies. You will also represent AstraZeneca in Alliance governance teams and continue to drive patient centricity and innovation through all aspects of RSV/hMPV franchise.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree is required with science expertise

• Proven success in a global / above market leadership role, 10 + years experience

• In market commercial launch and P&L responsibilities in Vaccines.

• Demonstrated experience in leading cross functional teams.

• Launch experience and commercial leadership roles.

• Proven strong influencing skills and customer management

• Experienced and comfortable working in a matrix environment

• Understanding of and adaptable to working variances of different countries and different cultures

• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills, demonstrating flexibility and a proven track record to deal with complexity under time pressure.

• Experience and efficiency in the presentation of written and verbal cases to the most senior management.

• Strong financial literacy and business insight,

• Experience to create a positive relationship with third parties as an AZ Ambassador at Board and Executive Committee level.

• Tenacity and resourcefulness.

• Demonstrates structured and measured leadership, interactions and decision making during periods of high intensity in external or internal deliberations.

• A flexible, team orientated attitude, willing to contribute own skills to deliver AZ priority projects

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Advanced degree, e.g. MBA.

• International working experience
