Full Stack Engineer - REMOTE

What the job looks like:

We are looking for a full-stack engineer with strong application design and development skills. In this role, you must possess excellent problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge with a strong aptitude for appreciating the focus, scope, and impact of your work in a much wider and forward-looking software landscape. You should also be able to demonstrate a history of technical leadership, excellent communication, and a positive attitude.

You have:

• 5+ years of engineering experience
  
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
  
• A default of self-motivation, taking initiative, and strong communication skills
  
• Passion for learning new technologies and the ability to do so quickly
  
• Ability to write high-quality code efficiently
  
• A background with Agile application development and practices
  
• Test-Driven Development experiences
  
• Python experience for backend development
  
• REST API Design
  
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript experience for frontend development
  
• Experience with supporting an application in production and the DevOps approach to software development
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with reactive front-end frameworks like ReactJS
  
• Experience with USWDS design patterns
  
• SQLAlchemy
  
• A desire to "shift left" on testing responsibilities
  
• Experience with testing philosophies and including unit, integration, and end-to-end and tooling for each.
  
• Familiarity with DevSecOps, particularly infrastructure-as-code for Azure
  
• Familiarity with Azure-native methods and tooling for observability and security
