We have an immediate opening for a Forklift Mechanic - Field Service at our Kaukauna, WI location.
Full-Time/ Direct Hire opportunity
Salary: $20-32/Hr.
Schedule: M-F / 8AM-5PM with flexibility for OT
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Position Summary:
As a Field Service - Forklift Mechanic, you will be provided with a company vehicle and will travel to customer sites to perform repairs and maintenance on electric and propane industrial equipment, including forklifts.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience and/or training in forklift or industrial equipment maintenance, with a focus on electrical maintenance.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
What You'll Do: - Drive a work vehicle to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance and repairs in the field.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts and industrial equipment.
- Document all work performed, including detailed repair descriptions and hour meter readings.
- Communicate effectively with customers to diagnose issues, provide repair estimates, and explain completed work.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Inspect and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on equipment.
