Holman - a Computerworld 2024 "Best Places to Work in IT" company - is hiring a Financial Systems Supervisor.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Supervise the process for identifying, capturing and prioritizing enhancement requests to all supported Financial systems.
- Work closely with Finance business leaders, third party providers and the rest of IT to ensure that our systems robustly support the Company's Finance System needs.
- Supervise internal employees including mentoring and growing their skills to match the needs of the company.
- Works with external vendors and other business staff that utilize or support financial systems.
- Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities within the finance systems.
- Assists in the implementation of external audit recommendations over internal control procedures within the confines of our financial systems.
- Participate in the ongoing implementation of FICO ensuring solutions align to SAP best practice and post implementation support and training.
- Resolve day to day incident, defect and enhancement requests from business.
- Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create the right solutions based on business needs.
- Continuous support of deployed SAP BRIM solution and ensure that all the pieces work together seamlessly with other modules and/or applications.
- Propose application improvement and collaborate with IT teams for solution implementation.
- Manage and support integrations between internal and external systems/partners.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders in Finance to ensure that applications meet business requirements and functional specifications,
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to ensure IT best practices are adhered to.
- Promote best practices for financial systems throughout the organization.
- Participate in projects to maintain and secure up-to-date Finance application platforms.
- Review and analyze existing applications effectiveness and efficiency, and then suggest strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
- Support the month end accounting processes.
- Liaise with company's software vendors for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies; keep key stakeholders updated and follow through to resolution of problem.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Experience
- 5+ years' experience, including 2+ at a leadership level in SAP (preferably S4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO)
- Functional expertise in General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Treasury, Tax, Consolidation and Order to Cash.
- In-depth process and configuration knowledge of all the core SAP FICO modules including New GL, Asset Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and COPA.
- Preferred experience in SAP BRIM or Convergent Billing solution components such as Subscription Billing or Subscription Order Management (SOM) or Convergent Mediation (CM) or Convergent Charging (CC) or Convergent Invoicing (CI) or contract accounting (FICA)
- Good understanding of the following processes: General Ledger - Parallel ledgers, Document splitting, period end closing activities, foreign currency revaluation, integration with third party systems to post journal entries.
- Accounts Payable - Expertise in payment run and configuration, integration with Materials Management, related conversions, integration with Banks - including payment files, Electronic bank statements, positive pay, check payments.
- Accounts Receivable - Thorough understanding of account receivable process with incoming payments including Lockbox.
- Controlling - Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, COPA
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Ability to collaborate with others to deliver the best possible outcome while balancing key constraints.
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-driven, team-oriented, fast learning, goal-oriented individual with positive attitude.
- OneStream experience is a PLUS.
- Fundamental understanding of Project Management and Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Good understanding of SOX and General Computer Controls.
- Prefer SAP implementations experience and best practice knowledge.

Click here for Washington State benefit information.Pay:We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 - $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
