The Filtration Sales Specialist for Cytiva is responsible for territory growth, expansion of direct sales, establishment of professional relationships and meeting targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
This position is part of the Central US Filtration Specialist team located in IA, NE, KS or MO and will be fully remote with regular travel to customer sites throughout the territory. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
Contribute to sales strategies and account plans, as part of the core account team.
Primarily focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single use designs within the territory, and supports all filtration consumables products, process related single use technologies and relevant equipment to support these processes. These responsibilities include both by providing the Account Manager in sales process with product expertise as well as independently identifying opportunities.
Develop the sales of modality process solutions in the assigned sales region/territory, establishing long lasting technical customer relationships.
Provide high level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
Lead technical and process related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts and give applicative support including trouble shooting and answer customer queries of sophisticated technical and applicative nature.
Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software.
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or relevant field.
2 plus years of hands-on experience with filtration and downstream processing.
Customer focus - Delivering customer-centric solutions to meet current and anticipated needs.
Plan to Action - Prioritizes options and translates intentions into plans and sustainable outcomes.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Commercial sales process, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
Cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
