It all began with Leroy Penhall's realization of an opportunity during Anaheim, California's "Orange Grove Development Boom" of the 1950s. He purchased his first gas-powered diamond saw, which allowed him to carry out concrete work with accuracy and speed. Penhall has since grown to offer a comprehensive selection of concrete services, including scanning, cutting, sawing, breaking, and removal.

Position Description

Specific Role Responsibilities:

• Concrete & Asphalt Cutting & Coring - Using Flat saws, handsaws, rig saws, Core Drills Etc.
• Inspect and maintain all company equipment, safe operation, cleanliness and general maintenance of vehicles, flat saws, core drills and small tools.

Travel: Possible travel if necessary

Position Requirements

Requirements:

• Safety oriented/safety conscious
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience cutting & core drilling concrete and asphalt.
• 2-5 years' experience working in a construction company
• Equipment experience: Proficiency in any or all of the following diamond tools: wall saw, core drill, flat saw, handsaws, ring saws
• Self-motivation, with a a strong work ethic and willingness to work in challenging conditions (rain, cold, heat, etc.).
• Ability to enter/track hours and daily notes using a tablet or phone app
• Mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills
• Be able to pass pre-employment background and drug screen
• Must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license and have a good driving history
• Must have steel toe leather work boots
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to lift and move 45lbs or more
