SummaryThe Director is responsible for leading the administration and oversight of the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility. Collaborating with the Executive Director for Campus Accessibility & 504/ADA Coordinator, this position develops and implements policies, ensures timely delivery of accommodations, and manages departmental budgets and databases. This position upholds confidentiality and addresses stakeholder concerns.
The Director provides strategic leadership, supervises a team of professionals, and ensures compliance with performance standards. Additionally, this position conducts training sessions, creates informative materials, and fosters an inclusive campus environment through outreach initiatives.
* Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or another human service field.* 5 years of experience working with college students with disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, ADHD).
* Master's Degree (in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or another human service field) with 2 years of experience working with college students with disabilities (e.g., learning disabilities, ADHD).* Competent in using Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access).* Able to store and retrieve information from Microsoft Excel and Access databases. * Ability to hire, supervise and evaluate staff. * Adaptability and willingness to learn.
