Missouri American Water is seeking a Cross Connection Supervisor to join our operations and manage our cross connection backflow program. This statewide role will be responsible for our cross connection program throughout our Missouri footprint. Day-to-day responsibilities include local travel to our sites, performing on-site inspections, and data management and reporting.
*Note that this position has flexibility to be based out of St. Joe, Joplin, or Jefferson City.
Primary Role
Carries out day-to-day management of cross connection program ensuring water systems comply with regulations and that proper backflow prevention assemblies are installed so that contamination or pollution of the water supply does not occur. Provides technical support on cross connection control and regulatory compliance issues. Ensures Company policy on Cross Connection Control is implemented. Assists with Source Water Protection activities such as technical support for monitoring equipment, routine data analysis, and other necessary activities.
