Location: Hybrid to Metro-Milwaukee or Hybrid to Pune, India offices
Executes the credit limit and term analysis, granting, and monitoring process according to organizational objectives by assessing current and potential customers to optimize sales and ensure the department meets corporate objectives and goals. Responsible for ensuring that existing customers are in good standing by conducting periodic reviews and building good relationships with customers, sales, credit managers, collection agencies, credit reporting agencies, and insurance providers. To execute global credit policy and procedures in a manner which facilitates the sale of goods, stimulates cash flow, and safeguards company accounts receivable.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Oversee and administer the global credit review process to assess risks
- Manages the Credit Analysis function in a timely, efficient and amicable manner across international business units.
- Investigates creditworthiness and terms through evaluations of financial statements, trade references, credit reports, demand, and payment history.
- Manages the organization's holds process ensuring the proper actions are taken
- Arranges security instruments, Letters of Credit and Guarantees
- Maintains the organization's credit analysis model
- Maintains customer files and detailed records of reviews
- Monitor customer payments and sales activity
- Make recommendations to improve the company's credit policy when necessary
- Reviews doubtful accounts to determine if accounts are uncollectable and need to be written off
- Revises and updates credit policy, in consultation with senior executives, as required
- Manages job performance, training, mentoring and coaching of credit analysis personnel
- Keeps up to date on international credit term laws
Requirements:
- 5 years of related experience in a similar credit role, with emphasis on conducting international business and 2-3 years' experience in a management role.
- Letters of Credit experience and financial statement spreading required.
- Excel, SAP and GetPaid software experience required.
- Post secondary education in business, finance or related discipline.
- Attained or actively pursuing credit designation (CCP). Preferred designation ICCE, International Certified Credit Executive.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to write quantitative and qualitative credit analysis reports
- Ability to discuss financial reports and analysis
- Attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure
The Salary range for this position is $79,500.00-$100,450.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
