Job Description Summary
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide all basic housekeeping services for AHA assigned office space at the Academy AHA/CWS warehouse offices and space, and AHA's satellite office (twice per week at this location) located in Greensboro to include and performed during normal working hours Monday through Friday excluding holidays:

• Spot wash fingerprints, marker marks, and any mark from all wall surfaces, doors, frames, desks, and glass surfaces.
• Dust all furniture (desks, chairs, tables, etc).
• Clean exterior face of cupboard doors, bench tops and tables.
• Clean all kitchen areas, sinks, cupboard exteriors, exterior refrigerator surfaces, tiles, backsplash, counters, and benchtops, Replace all hand towels, air freshener, and soap as needed.
• Clean all toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, fixtures, sweep and mop all floors. Replace all hand towels, toilet paper rolls, air freshener, and soap as needed.
• Vacuuming of all carpeted areas
• Empty all wastepaper bins and remove trash from offices and restrooms and replace bin liners daily.
• Remove any rubbish from shelves, or any other items found,
• Spot Clean, remove dust, dirt, and finger marks to all viewing panels to doors.
• General policing of campus grounds for trash.
• Escort AHA visitors as requested.
• All other duties as assigned,

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a valid driver license.
• Able to operate a golf cart (training provided).
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - back pack style and other custodial tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

IMPORTANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma, GED or Trade/Vocational training.
• Some related experience to the basic duties as listed above.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.

WORK ENVIROMENT

• This position operates in a professional office environment, warehouse space, and exterior grounds.
• Regularly requires travel outside between buildings and properties in various weather conditions.
• Physical demands include to occasionally lift, pull or carry up to 25 pounds.
