Position: Category Lead - Procurement

Location: Onsite Hybrid in Lakewood, CO

Duration: Contract

Scope:

Provides general support with all aspects of category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier due diligence, and RFPs. Follows the Company's purchasing practices by identifying and leading efforts to proactively gain visibility to total spend and reduce total costs. Perform spend analysis, market & supplier assessments to ensure best in class strategic sourcing strategies and category spend management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential function of the job may be considered.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in strategic sourcing, category management and procurement operations across multiple categories.
• Experience with both IT services and Marketing purchasing is required.
  
• Demonstrated sourcing experience leading RFx's, conducting supplier management activities, and managing a sourcing across multiple categories.
• Proficient at standard sourcing and category management concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proven critical thinking by translating, analyzing, and crafting solutions from financial modeling and data analysis.
• Excellent understanding of contracts and contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and possess the ability to thrive in a continuous improvement environment
