Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (MES/QAD)
Location: Fully onsite nearby Downey, CA (only considering local candidates)
Employment Type: Direct-Hire
Compensation: $80,000 to $100,000 (based on experience)

Job Purpose:

Work with users and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand business processes and specific uses of business applications in meeting operational needs.

Tasks/Essential Duties :

• Supports business application users, reviewing and resolving process and application issues.
• Serves as liaison between local entity and Corporate ERP-IT team.
• Develop proposals and implementation plans for business system resolutions to user needs including resources required (personnel and costs) to execute.
• Drive business system application related projects, to deliver against committed schedules.
• Resolving or escalating issues as needed.
• Regularly meet with managers and users to evaluate business system performance and as needed develop and recommend improvements.
• Develop necessary knowledge base to become the subject matter expert (SME) in the interconnectedness of various business applications (QAD, QAD EQMS, MES, etc).

Requirements:

• A bachelor degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Hands on experience with SQL or other database platforms
• Knowledge of Maintaining and Handling of ERP, MES and Quality Systems (QAD and QAD EQMS)
• Knowledge of integrated and bolt-on Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and quality systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
