The Business Process Analyst is part of the bank's Process Engineering and Automation team to support the Bank's digital transformation initiative. The Business Process Analyst is responsible for leading, evaluating and analyzing internal processes, procedures, and technology to identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and assist with automation opportunities for sustainable and scalable change.

Job Responsibilities:

Process Improvement and Analysis:

  • Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop current state process maps to visualize and communicate process changes.
  • Utilize Six Sigma improvement methodology to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Manage the process lifecycle from current state, redesign, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
  • Collaborate with the business SMEs to facilitate business discovery, gather, and document business requirements, implement process changes and monitor progress.
  • Translate business needs into technical specification documents.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including current and future state process flows, standard operating procedures, and user guides.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of process inefficiencies following the Six Sigma methodology.
  • Develop metrics to measure process performance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare detailed reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Stakeholder Communication:
  • Work closely with various departments to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Facilitate Kaizen workshops and meetings to gather input, build consensus and drive decision making.
  • Translate high-level information into detail for developers, translating technical information into general understanding for end users.
  • Facilitate end-to-end functional business analysis, and experience design from business need to UAT and release

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or similar field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a business process analyst with experience in gathering requirements and creating documentation in support of IT projects or process improvements
  • Proficient in Business Process Mapping and/or Swimlane Diagrams
  • Ability to understand cross-functional systems and translate business requests into technical requirements to determine best process solutions
  • Demonstrated aptitude for creativity and complex problem-solving
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Experience working in banking or financial services
  • Experience in data analysis leveraging Excel, QI Macros, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Understanding of RPA automation methodology and tools such as UI Path
