Business Consultant - Chargemaster / Contract Auditor (JR134722)

Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Business Consultant (Chargemaster Contract Audit) is responsible for conducting complex provider audits including contract analysis, process management, and negotiation. Possesses technical knowledge of contract and rate sheet interpretation and validation, and is able to consider the business implications and make recommendations. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Use project management skills to lead/facilitate audit assigned to complex projects.
  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex and varied business needs.
  • Analyzes and designs solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
  • Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology.

Minimum Requirements:
  • BA/BS and minimum of 8 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis and project management; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Health Insurance /Managed Care experience preferred.
  • Provider contracting knowledge, Commercial business.
  • Experience using Contraxx is strongly preferred.
  • Health care Audit experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating projects with tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of Health Economics.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $85,680 to $141,240

Locations: Colorado; Maryland
