Job Description:
The Quality Analyst drives "insights to action" within the Quality Management program. The candidate must be able to analyze insights supplied by the quality engineering team and multiple other sources to understand both the operational & financial impact of in-process defects. The role is responsible for working with the operations teams to identify and drive improvements and proactive remediation when quality standards aren't met. The role serves as a subject matter expert on Quality and is the "go-to" person for questions about quality, quality measures, and best-in-industry specifications.
Responsibilities:
•Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
•Work with business unit stakeholders and leaders to implement quality monitoring, testing plans, and ongoing improvement cycle processes.
•Develop and manage quality-specific metrics for performance and improvement on several teams.
•Build strong partnerships with colleagues across the organization and function as an internal consultant to help identify gaps between actual and desired processes, and create action plans to achieve success.
•Take analytical insights and drive change to solidify underperforming processes with improvement and technology.
•Partner with quality engineering resources to understand data trends.
• Continuously evaluate critical failure points within a process to de-risk people, process & technology-related risks.
•Act as a champion and influence better quality practices and accountability.
•Analyze data findings and trends making recommendations to teams on areas for improvement including sharing best practices.
•Track changes to assess the impact of the change by monitoring audit results. Seek out additional new best practices for continuous improvement.
•Utilize reporting (metrics, business drivers, benchmarking, etc.) to find additional improvements for the business. Compare processes among multiple clients and document best practices & deviations to standards to drive process harmonization.
•Show a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills utilizing data.
Job Qualifications:
•Requires a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Systems Engineering or Management, or a closely related field.
•Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt (preferred)
•2-5 years of quality audit experience, working in an operations/ services environment.
• 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
•Knowledge and experience to apply lean concepts and principles across an entire value stream.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Office suite of products - Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
•Experience working in a vendor-managed environment.
•Observant, detail-oriented, meticulous, flexible, calm and cooperative.
•Results-oriented, proactive, and proven success with process improvements and data analytics.
Annual Pay Range:
46,300 - 54,205 USD
