About the APP Role and PACU
As Advanced Practice Providers (APP) at Massachusetts General Hospital, patients are our primary focus, and the way we deliver care reflects that focus every day. We believe in creating a healing environment - an environment that is safe, has no barriers, and is built on a spirit of inquiry-an environment that reflects a diverse, inclusive, and culturally competent workforce representative of the patient-focused values of this institution.
The Post Anesthesia Care Units at MGH are comprised of 7 individual critical care areas dedicated to the care of adult and pediatric patients preceding and immediately following surgery and/or procedures requiring anesthesia. Highly experienced, diverse & supportive group of critical care clinicians in a dynamic, multi-specialty surgical environment with room to learn and grow.
We currently have exciting opportunities for Advanced Practice Providers to work in our PACU. Shifts are comprised of 13-hour day/evening shifts (7am or 9am, rotating start). We offer limited Saturday rotation (every 12 weeks); No holiday rotation or overnights. Unfortunately, no new Grads.
