Volt is immediately hiring for an AOI Technician/Final Assembly in Aurora, CO
***Competitive Pay/ Market Leader/Overtime ***
As an AOI Technician/ Final Assembly you will:
- Position/handle partially and fully assembled Printed Circuit Boards.
- operate AOI equipment for inspection of PCB assemblies and components.
- Analyze product quality and/or failures based on requirements and standards that apply, recommend corrective and preventive action.
- Inspect PCB Components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation.
- Segregate and report the rejected PCBs properly identified that do not fulfill the established levels of acceptance.
- Report all part errors, discrepancies, and questions into the database.
- Stop the process if find conditions are found that do not assure the quality of the product.
- Position PCB assemblies and components for inspection process and operate inspection equipment safely and efficiently.
Schedule: M to Friday from 11 am to 7:30pm
The ideal
AOI Technician/ Final Assembly candidate will have:
- 3 years' current/recent experience in non-destructive testing within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Use of small hand tools and comparators; use of AOI equipment.
- Perform physical requirements of the position, including use of hand tools, comparators, and x-ray equipment, work with chemicals, lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours and extra hours as required.
- Operate a computer and intermediate software at a proficient level.
- Excellent communication skills.
Pay Rate: < 20/hr + > *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
