MICHELIN RACEWAY ROAD ATLANTA

Recognized as one of the world's best road courses, Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is a 2.54-mile road course situated in the rolling hills 35 minutes north of Atlanta. The multi-purpose facility hosts the 10-hour Petit Le Mans race that closes out the IMSA schedule and is the final of the four endurance races contested by the series. Job Description

Job Title: Coordinator, Accounting

Department: Administration

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Prepared Date: March 6, 2018

Approved Date: July 17, 2024

Summary

Accounting support is provided to the Controller and accounting functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinate billing for track rentals, building rent, sponsorships, and vendor rental with corporate account receivables.

Scan all accounts payable invoices and link in Workday.

Manage accounts payable queues for invoice approval.

Process checks batches for payments to vendors.

Prepare remote deposit for customer payments received at the office.

Apply check and credit card payments to the customer's accounts receivable balance.

Record fuel sales and payments.

Answer calls and respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.

Evaluate requests for donations and subsequent fulfillment.

Assist Controller in special requests.

Perform event responsibilities approved by the supervisor.

Provide backup for the receptionist, when needed.

Provide support for the President as needed.

No travel is required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; 3-5 years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a credit check due to accounting duties.
