Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter daily inventory counts and assist in the monthly physical inventory process.
  • Process accounts payable by coding, entering, and paying vendor invoices.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Sage 100) and proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
