RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chesterfield, MO that is seeking an Accountant.Senior Accountant- Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, reviewing manufacturing process orders, track labor and overhead absorption and reconciliations
- Work with all plants, FP&A, and operations to build/consolidate and analyze departmental/function plans and forecasts
- Query existing systems to extract data and develop reports
- Prepare reports and presentations that summarize the plant's financial/operations performance
- Complete assigned monthly and annual reporting packages
- Process travel and entertainment expenses and coordinate reporting
- Administer company purchasing card expenses reporting/review
- Oversee master files- creation and maintenance of new vendors, customers, and products; Confirming all controls processes have been followed
- Develop and/or streamline reporting processes
- Analyze actual production costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills
- Proficient MS Excel and data analysis skills
- Qualified knowledge of accounting principles, accrual accounting, inventory, cost of goods sold, etc.
- Self-motivated and directed with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Proven history of problem solving and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and grammatical communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
