Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for accounting support to the production plants and Tyson Poultry corporate accounting departments. Responsibilities include performing analyses on product costing, product yields, weekly plant variance analysis, capital review and management, self-audits of the location to ensure compliance, monthly cost setting and review, quarterly financial projections, quarterly balance sheet recons and flux analysis, and annual budget projections. This position has other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned. This position will work closely with management in operations, quality assurance, plant accounting, and corporate accounting.

REQUIREMENTS:
Background check is required.
Education: Accredited Bachelor s degree required. Accounting Finance major preferred.
Experience: 4 plus years supervisory experience; Poultry product knowledge or related experience a plus.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL and data base systems. Experience with Tyson Poultry yield systems is beneficial. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Special Skills: Analytical and data management skills are essential. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising 2 management support team members.
Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.
